Guest Post – Primal Fudge

We are very fortunate to have some kitchen-savvy clients who share their delicious and nutritious primal recipes!

This one’s from Lindsay – she did the Primal Challenge back in June 2012. In 21 days she dropped over 4 lbs and 8 inches off a petite and fit frame. When we measured her this June she had lost an additional 10 lbs and 16″ for a 1-year total of 14 lbs and 24 inches! As you’ll clearly see below, she’s been doing this without depriving her taste buds!

Here’s the belated post for her dangerously decadent Primal Fudge!

Ingredients:

  • 1/2 cup coconut oil
  • 1/2 cup high-quality cocoa powder
  • 1/2 cup smooth almond butter
  • 1/4 cup raw honey or pure maple syrup
  • 1/2 teaspoon pure vanilla extract

Directions:

  1. Blend everything together in a food processor. They recommend starting out by blending the coconut oil with the smooth almond butter first.
  2. Once the mixture is combined, add all of the other remaining ingredients and blend until completely smooth.
  3. When it is fully smooth and glossy, scoop it out with a spoon and portion it evenly into cupcake wrappers.
  4. Let the fudge set completely and leave them stored in the refrigerator until ready to serve.

Makes 8-10 servings.

Thank you Lindsay! Feel free to bring this in again for another studio taste test!
