AMRAP – crossfit term for as many rounds as possible

GHR – Glute Ham Raise done on a GHD

HR – heart rate

HSPU – Handstand Pushups

MDA – Mark’s Daily Apple

Metcon – Metabolic conditioning.  A crossfit term to desribe a WOD that keeps the heart rate up the entire time.  Usually done in rounds in the least amount of time possible.

OH – Overhead

POSE – a method of movement using gravity to propel the body forward.  www.posetech.com

PR – Personal Record

PWO – Post-workout

RI – Rhode Island

ROM – Range of Motion

RPE – Rate of Perceived Exertion.  A scale to measure how hard you’re working.  I measure use a 1-10 scale like so: 1=chillin, 2=kickin it…8=balls to the wall, 9=i’m gonna be dizzy after this, 10=i’m gonna be extremely dizzy and puke right now

Rx – another crossfit term.  I believe it means “as prescribed”

TT – Time Trial

USA – Universal Strength Apparatus

WOD – Workout of the Day
